Switchblade

Switchblade entered Steam Early Access on August 28, 2018 as a free-to-play vehicular MOBA. The developer, Lucid Games, was actively posting updates through 2019 and into early 2020, shipping new vehicles, a battle pass system, competitive ranked mode, and various patches. The last developer communication of any kind was a hotfix patch posted on March 11, 2020. Since that date — more than six years ago as of today — there have been no posts, patches, announcements, or any other official communication from the developer. The game never left Early Access and no 1.0 release was ever announced or delivered. Lucid Games had previously committed to a full release and described an extensive roadmap of planned features. None of those were formally marked complete, nor did the developer ever post a statement confirming that development had ended or that the game was being shut down. Adding to the concern, the game is no longer purchasable on Steam — there are no available purchase options — which strongly suggests the game has been delisted or otherwise taken offline, even though its store page remains visible. This combination of years of total developer silence, an unfinished Early Access state, and the inability to acquire the game points to an effectively abandoned project.
