Tailbound launched on September 12, 2022 and received post-launch patches, with the last being v1.1.4 on February 12, 2023. The store description explicitly states "Tailbound is now finished, including all artwork, scenes, and music," confirming the developer considers the game complete. The single DLC (Deluxe Extras) was released on launch day and no additional DLC has been announced. The developer's subsequent communications confirm they moved on: a November 2023 teaser announced a new project (Asylust), and a February 2025 post revealed that project was scrapped in favor of yet another new game called Skantish, which received its first demo. There is no indication of any further content planned for Tailbound.

Tailbound is a lewd top-down 2D hack n' slash game, that finishes what my last game, Thirstchasm, set out to do. The game features Zelda-like gameplay, but at a far faster pace and with more of a focus on abilities and level hazards. Gameplay is based around an improved version of Thirstchasm's topple system & combat.
Tailbound is now finished, including all artwork, scenes, and music. The game has 29 fully-animated Sex Scenes, with the sole focus of Male on Male content. Not to mention, 4 levels, 7 enemies, and a multitude of secrets, easter eggs, and lore scattered about.
