Taiwan Love Story⁵ launched on December 18, 2024, and all three DLC items (the adult content patch, soundtrack, and artbook) shipped the following day. On January 19, 2025, the developer posted a milestone update celebrating 50,000 copies sold and announced that a Japanese voice-over update would be added to the game, with the release date to be confirmed in a later announcement. This constitutes an officially communicated content addition that has not yet shipped. However, as of June 20, 2026 — more than 17 months after that announcement — no further updates about Taiwan Love Story⁵ have been posted. The publisher's news feed has remained active with announcements about other games in the catalog, but nothing specific to this title. The promised Japanese voice-over remains undelivered and unconfirmed as still in progress, making the status of that update uncertain.
