Tangle Tower

Tangle Tower launched on October 22, 2019 as a complete, self-contained mystery adventure game. Since launch, SFB Games has delivered a series of free post-launch additions: Steam Achievements (February 11, 2020), a free Art Gallery update (June 11, 2020), and a Music Player feature (September 25, 2023). The game also came to mobile platforms in 2023. There is only one DLC — the official soundtrack, released February 11, 2020 — and it has shipped. The developer's post-launch news activity has been focused almost entirely on quality-of-life improvements, platform expansions, and promotional posts for their next game. Notably, in December 2023, SFB Games announced a brand-new sequel titled The Mermaid Mask (originally called The Mermaid's Tongue), starring the same detective duo. A January 2026 post confirmed the sequel is coming in 2026, and a February 2026 post confirmed a summer 2026 release window with a demo available. All developer communications since late 2023 have been about this new game — not about additional content for Tangle Tower itself. Tangle Tower itself has received no new content commitments, no unreleased DLC, and no developer statements suggesting further updates are planned. The game shipped as a complete narrative experience and all post-launch additions have been delivered. The most recent content addition to Tangle Tower was the Music Player update on September 25, 2023, which appears to be the last meaningful addition to the game.
