Tapple - Idle Clicker

Tapple - Idle Clicker launched on June 28, 2024 as a free-to-play casual clicker game by solo developer Zeeno. In the months following launch, the developer was very active: posting multiple feature updates, UI improvements, new content drops (skins, a crafting system, new collectible Tapples), and bug fixes at a rapid pace — often multiple times per month through the summer of 2024. Throughout this period, the developer repeatedly promised ongoing development. On July 4, 2024, Zeeno wrote "This is just the beginning, and I have big plans for Tapple." On August 16, 2024, the announcement for the new crafting system stated "I'll continue updating Tapple and add as many features as I can." The final developer post on September 17, 2024 introduced a new collectible Tapple and again asked players to "be patient as I make major improvements" and stated "this update is just the beginning; more exciting changes are on the way." Since September 17, 2024, there have been no further posts, patch notes, or communications from the developer. This breaks a consistent pattern of frequent updates that had been maintained since launch. The developer's own stated commitments — more features, major improvements, ongoing additions — have not been followed up on, and no explanation for the extended silence has been provided. Whether development is continuing, paused, or has been quietly abandoned is unknown.
