Terra Mystica launched on June 8, 2017 and received its one major content expansion — the Fire & Ice add-on — on April 5, 2018, adding six new factions and two new terrain types. The store description explicitly notes that the game "Includes the Add On 'Fire & Ice'," indicating this expansion is bundled into the base purchase. No further paid DLC or named content expansions have been announced or released since then.
Post-2018 developer activity has been focused on infrastructure and maintenance: a server migration in mid-2023 brought a new main menu, lobby system, avatar customization, and account management features, but these were platform/service improvements rather than new game content. A bug fix update as recently as January 26, 2026 shows the developer is still maintaining the game, but this is routine upkeep rather than content development.
The January 2021 developer post outlined plans to improve PC UI and migrate games to a new server — goals that were subsequently fulfilled by the 2023 migration update. No new content was promised as part of those plans. There are no unreleased DLC listings on the store, no announced expansions, and no roadmap pointing to future content. The game appears to have shipped as a complete product (base game plus Fire & Ice) and has been in a maintenance-only state since April 2018.

About this game
Terra Mystica is a strategy game with a simple game principle and very little luck involved: You govern one of 20 factions trying to transform the Landscape on the game board in your favor in order to build your Structures. On the one hand, proximity to other players limits your options for further expansion, on the other hand though, it provides some benefits during the game. This conflict is the source of Terra Mystica's appeal.
Structures may be upgraded to provide even more resources, like Workers, Pries
The 20 artfully designed factions, each having unique special abilities, as well as the exchangeable bonus cards allow for a large number of possible game plays that constantly keep this game entertaining!
