Evaluation

The Book of Bondmaids launched on September 24, 2021, and received two story DLCs — "Cooks, Thieves, Wives and Lovers" (June 17, 2022) and "Tales" (December 15, 2022) — along with a soundtrack DLC (March 31, 2022) and, most recently, an artbook DLC (April 9, 2025). On April 26, 2024, the developer published a post explicitly titled "The LAST update," stating: "As story itself is finished, we have nothing to add here." This is a direct developer declaration that content development for The Book of Bondmaids is complete. The post went on to announce work on a new game set in the same universe (which eventually became The Book of Outcasts, released October 30, 2025) and a separate title called Womanizer. The April 9, 2025 artbook DLC release came after that declaration, but it is consistent with the developer's framing — it was described as a retrospective item ("an attempt to remind you about The Book of Bondmaids") rather than new story content. The developer's April 2026 post confirms ongoing focus on the new title Suspira, with no mention of any further content for The Book of Bondmaids. All four listed DLCs are released. The developer has explicitly stated the game's story is finished and has since shipped two entirely separate games. The content of The Book of Bondmaids is complete, with the artbook DLC representing the final item released on April 9, 2025.

About this game

A Kingdom in ruins, a Princess in chains, a Hero caught between redemption and damnation, and an ancient, worn, dusty Book...

The ruling royal dynasty of Conussia has been overthrown, and an undead Lich now sits on the throne. As a courtier to the previous regime you were partly responsible for the coup, and as such, your services have been retained by the Lich.

As the story unfolds, you learn that there is much more to this occupation than meets the eye, and must choose whether to ally yourself with the Lich and his seductive right-hand woman, with the Resistance to try and undo the damage you have unwittingly done, or to walk the dangerous thin line of the mercenary, loyal to no-one but his friends.

Lastly, of course, is the Princess, who from her prison cell holds a terrible secret that could change everything.

The Book of Bondmaids is a story-driven visual novel and sequel to Three Kingdoms Story: Conussia. The game features branching narrative paths and multiple endings, plus six erotic short stories written exclusively for TKS: The Book of Bondmaids by Trude Perkins.

The Book of Bondmaids is strictly 18+ due to mature themes and extremely strong sexual content, including depiction of consensual acts, BDSM, gay/ lesbian sex, graphic descriptions of torture, use of drugs and alcohol, group sex, murder, strong language and swearing, full male and female nudity, and prostitution.
