Evaluation

The DeadLine launched on July 25, 2025 as a free-to-play first-person zombie survival FPS. The developer moved quickly after launch: Patch 1.1.0 shipped on July 28, 2025 with difficulty and quality-of-life adjustments, and Patch 1.2.0 followed on August 4, 2025 adding two new dual firearms and Brazilian Portuguese language support. On July 29, 2025, the developer posted a thank-you message explicitly stating that player enthusiasm had given the team "great motivation as we prepare for future updates," and that they would "continue sending it out again and again." The Patch 1.2.0 notes also closed with "We'll be back with even more powerful weapons in the next patch," a direct promise of additional content. The last developer communication on record is from August 4, 2025. While there has been no developer communication since August 4, 2025, the two major updates shipped within the game's first 10 days establish a very early post-launch cadence — and the gap from August 4, 2025 to today (September 24, 2026) is approximately 13.5 months. However, the developer made an explicit forward-facing commitment at the time of the last update, promising more weapons in the next patch. That announced-but-undelivered promise keeps the game in ongoing development status rather than marking it complete. The silence since August 4, 2025 is notable and worth watching, but no developer statement has declared the game finished or development concluded.
