The Falconeer originally launched on November 10, 2020 and received a sweeping Revolution Remaster on November 5, 2025 — a major overhaul delivered free to all existing Steam owners. The remaster rebuilt nearly every system: visuals, flight controls, world locations, AI, balance, and more. It also rolled in previously paid DLC (the Edge of the World content) at no extra cost and added a new Supporter DLC armor set (released November 11, 2025). The developer, Tomas Sala, has maintained a consistent presence since the remaster launched. Bug fix patches followed in November 2025, and a beta maintenance update addressing multiple issues was pushed on March 11, 2026. As of May 28, 2026, Tomas and Wired Productions announced a new project called ShipShaper — a ship design tool that explicitly allows players to import creations into The Falconeer, keeping the game connected to the developer's active work. The developer has also floated the possibility of future work on the game, including a potential VR remaster and other upgrades, framing the Falconeer universe as an ongoing "franchise" rather than a finished product. REMASTER OUT NOW! FREE as an update for all STEAM Falconeer owners.

The Falconeer has received a major Remaster refresh for all steam users recently. This brings it up in quality to Bulwark and future games. Sadly I didn't have the means to also remaster the VR version, but this is still a possibility in the future, consider supporting this solodev franchise of experimental games by following or wishlisting any of my other games and hopefully I can revisit the Falconeer again for another major upgrade..

You take on the role of Falconeer, a powerful airborne warrior traversing a vast oceanic world torn apart by generations of poisonous decisions and dissent. Throughout multiple campaigns, you will experience life from many different perspectives and loyalties as you embark on a journey of discovery, and solve the mystery of the Ursee, its people and history.

Progress through perilous missions and side quests, wielding your lightning caster to protect ships against pirates, kraken and other threats. Dive through the deep ocean depths, soar above the clouds to do battle with giant crab cities or engage in furious dogfights against the mysterious Mancer Order that controls and regulates technology.
