The Fear Business launched on October 28, 2024 as a complete survival horror game. Following release, the developer shipped a steady series of patches: a bug fix on November 3, a balance and content patch on November 10 (adding the Match item), another bug fix on November 15, and a feature update on December 19, 2024 ("The Follower" update, version 1.1.0) adding a new optional camera perspective and additional language translations. In the launch announcement on October 28, 2024, the developer noted they might "roll a content patch in the future," which is vague enough that it does not constitute a firm commitment to future content — and the subsequent patches (through December 19, 2024) plausibly represent the fulfillment of that intent. There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store, no announced roadmap, no season pass, and no developer communication after December 19, 2024. The game has been silent since that date, which is now over six months ago, consistent with a finished product. The game launched as a complete, self-contained narrative experience. Post-launch updates focused on balancing, bug fixing, and quality-of-life improvements, with one modest feature addition. All signals point to the game being content-complete as of the December 19, 2024 update.
