The Guest launched on March 10, 2016 as a self-contained puzzle-adventure game. In the weeks following launch, Team Gotham issued a handful of bug fix patches and added a Mac version (March 24, 2016). On April 21, 2016, they released the Original Soundtrack as a free DLC — the only DLC for the game — alongside a final patch that added the ability to skip the ending credits. That April 2016 post is also the last developer communication on record. All DLC has been released, no unreleased content is listed on the store, and the developer has made no announcements of future updates, expansions, or additional content at any point. The store description focuses entirely on the base game's self-contained story. The game was clearly launched as a finished product and has received no further content since April 2016.
