The Last Hope launched on August 29, 2016 and received a series of post-launch updates over roughly two years. The developer added the United Kingdom as a new playable country in October 2016 (v1.1), shipped a Halloween-themed patch shortly after, and delivered a major "Remastered Update" in March 2017 that overhauled the game engine and graphics. In April 2018, the developer released "The Last Hope: Atomic Bomb – Crypto War," announced as a continuation of the series and sold as a separate sequel title rather than an update to this base game. After that April 2018 post, the developer's communications shifted entirely to other projects — most notably a January 2022 announcement for ConflictCraft 2, a different game entirely. There have been no updates, patches, or announcements for The Last Hope itself since April 2018.
