Evaluation

The Mobius Machine launched on March 1, 2024 after three years of development. Following launch, the developer actively supported the game with a series of updates. Version 1.0.2 (March 12, 2024) and 1.0.3 (April 4, 2024) addressed map layout, fast travel, and quality-of-life improvements. On April 22, 2024, the developer published a roadmap announcing a content update that included new bosses, new items, a new ending, and various improvements. That content update shipped as Version 1.1 on June 17, 2024, delivering everything described in the roadmap. Version 1.2 followed on September 18, 2024, adding a workshop revamp, visual improvements, and additional map refinements. Since then, the developer has released only maintenance patches: Version 1.2.3 (December 11, 2025) addressed save file handling and a security fix, and Version 1.2.4 (January 12, 2026) fixed a crash introduced by a Unity engine upgrade. There are no unreleased DLC listed on the store, no announced future content, and no roadmap pointing to upcoming updates. The April 2024 roadmap's promises were fully delivered by Version 1.1 and 1.2. The most recent major content update shipped on September 18, 2024, and the developer has not communicated any plans for additional content since that point. The game appears to have reached its final content state with Version 1.2.
