The Monster of Memory: Destiny launched on Steam on November 27, 2020 as a complete visual novel adapted from a Golden Manga Award-winning manga. The store description presents the game as a fully realized product: 16 full-color CGs, over 700 images, full Chinese voice acting, and three original storylines added beyond the source material. There is no DLC listed, no season pass, and no roadmap or announcement of future content. Developer activity after launch consisted solely of a typo-correction patch on January 23, 2021. There have been no developer communications of any kind since that date. The game launched as a complete, self-contained narrative product and has shown no signals of planned additional content.

The elder brother of the protagonist, Sumi.
His talent for soccer can be considered genius-level. After his father died, he was very demanding of himself and cared greatly for his brother. Trying to be independent, he tries his best not to worry his family.

The protagonist.
He greatly admires his brother, Haru. For catching Haru’s notice, he practices soccer very hard. Usually quite easygoing, he loses all control when he hears someone speaking something bad of Haru.
Nao
Sumi's teammate in the Soccer Club.
For some reasons, he considers Sumi as his rival. He is always outspoken and brings troubles upon Sumi no matter the situation.
Natsu
Sumi's classmate.
