Evaluation
The Monsters' History Book launched on June 27, 2018 as a self-contained adventure/RPG with 14 story endings. Shortly after launch, the developer pushed several updates: an art and UI refresh on June 28, 2018, an achievement system on September 10, 2018, and a bug fix patch on November 3, 2018. A single DLC — "Classic Edition" containing original music, artwork, and game files — was released on June 29, 2018 and is the only DLC ever listed for the game.
The developer's news posts after 2018 promote other games in their studio catalog (At Home Alone II, The Brink, At Home Alone Final) rather than announcing any new content for The Monsters' History Book. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no roadmap, and no developer statement promising additional content for this title. The last developer communication touching this game dates to December 16, 2021, and it was cross-promotional in nature. The game shipped as a complete narrative product and received only maintenance and minor polish updates before the developer moved on to other projects.
