The Mystery of Caketropolis launched on June 18, 2021 as a complete story-driven adventure game. The developer shipped one post-launch content update — the "Live in Stalagshire" update on March 18, 2022 — which added over 20 minutes of bonus story content across three mini-chapters, along with four new music tracks. Alongside the release of this update, the developer explicitly stated: "Releasing this update concludes the development of The Mystery of Caketropolis. I've done what I've sought out to achieve, and now it's time for me to move on to other projects." This is a clear, direct statement that development is finished. The only DLC listed is the soundtrack, which was released on launch day. There is no unshipped content, no roadmap, and no further developer communications about new content since March 18, 2022.

About this game
The city of Stalagshire exists as a haven to both humans and dragons alike. To Rimentus, a young dragon hatched within the city, it is the only home he has ever known. Beneath its peaceful facade however, simmering unrest has slowly begun to boil over.
When Stalagshire's Festival of Peace is interrupted by arson and the destruction of Caketropolis - the city's first interspecies cafe - all pretenses are dropped. Amidst rising tensions, the resulting chaos may see the dragons of Stalagshire exiled for good.
Someone's to blame for burning down Caketropolis, and Rimentus is certain his kin are not responsible. But can he solve the Mystery of Caketropolis before time runs out?
