The Obscura Experiment

The Obscura Experiment was released on March 7, 2023, as a student game project by Anabasis & Co. The launch post explicitly framed the release as the conclusion of a school project: "This marks the end of months of production, and our very first game release as students." The developers also described lessons learned in scoping down the game during production, indicating this was a finished deliverable rather than a platform for ongoing development. Following launch, the only subsequent post was a small achievement bug-fix patch on March 9, 2023. There have been no developer communications of any kind since March 9, 2023. There is no DLC, no announced future content, no roadmap, and no post-launch update pattern. The game launched as a complete, self-contained product and has received no content updates in the more than three years since its release.
