The One Fish launched into Early Access on August 12, 2026. The developer, re:try, has been very active since launch, shipping three hotfixes within the first three days to address bugs and balance issues. On August 13, 2026, the developer explicitly stated that "way more content and updates" are coming "very, very soon," and on launch day they encouraged players to leave feedback "as we move towards 1.0."
