Evaluation
The Price of Freedom launched on December 22, 2016 as the first episode in a planned episodic VR series. A July 11, 2019 developer post mentioned the possibility of "new episodes of The Price of Freedom" and teased that "new content is coming soon," but this was accompanied by the studio announcing it was pivoting to charge for the previously free game to generate cash flow. No follow-up episodes or additional content have ever been announced or listed on the store. The studio's next news post — just two months later in September 2019 — was about an entirely different game (Home A Drone), with no further mention of Price of Freedom episodes. There have been no developer communications about this game since September 2019, and no DLC or additional episodes appear in the store listing. The 2019 "coming soon" tease was never fulfilled with any announced or shipped content, and the studio appears to have moved on. The game effectively launched as a standalone episode and has received no post-launch content beyond a localization and bug-fix patch in March 2017.
Evidence
