The Room

The Room is the original entry in Fireproof Games' puzzle series, released on PC via Steam on July 28, 2014. According to the store description, this PC version is a fully-enhanced HD port of the original 2012 iPad game, and importantly, it already includes the 'EPILOGUE' DLC — meaning the complete package was bundled into the Steam release from day one. The developer's news posts since 2014 are focused entirely on announcing and launching subsequent entries in The Room series as separate standalone titles: The Room Two (June 28, 2016), The Room Three (November 13, 2018), The Room VR: A Dark Matter (March 26, 2020), and The Room 4: Old Sins (February 11, 2021). Most recently, Fireproof Games announced and released Ghost Town (July 15, 2025), a new VR puzzle adventure — their first project outside The Room mainline series. None of these posts indicate any new content planned for The Room (the original game). There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmaps, and no developer statements suggesting further updates to this title. The original game launched as a complete, self-contained experience with all its content included, and Fireproof Games has directed all subsequent creative output toward new titles rather than updating this one.
