Evaluation

The Seven Years War (1756-1763) launched on October 30, 2015 and received two paid DLC expansions: the Battle Pack on September 30, 2016, and the Pomeranian War DLC on November 25, 2016. Both are fully released with no unreleased DLC remaining on the store. The last developer communication directed at this game was the Pomeranian War DLC release post on November 25, 2016, alongside an accompanying patch (Update 1.336). After that, the developer shifted focus entirely to a successor project — Grand Tactician: The Civil War (1861-1865) — which was announced in October 2017 as an explicitly described follow-up to The Seven Years War, reached alpha in April 2020, and launched in Early Access in August 2020. No further updates, announcements, or roadmap items for The Seven Years War have been posted since late 2016. The game launched as a complete product, received two DLC expansions within its first year, and has had no developer activity in nearly a decade. All content has shipped and no further content is planned or hinted at.
