The Talos Principle 2 launched on November 2, 2023 and received one major paid expansion — Road to Elysium — on June 14, 2024, a three-part narrative and puzzle coda to the base game. All three DLC items listed on the store (the expansion, a digital artbook, and the soundtrack) have been released.
On May 13, 2026, Croteam explicitly announced The Talos Principle 3 as the conclusion to the trilogy, describing the series as a story that "must have a clear beginning, middle, and end." This framing positions Talos 2 as a complete chapter — its story and content are finished, with the narrative continuing in a separate new game rather than through further updates to this one. A July 28, 2026 post promoting Road to Elysium further reinforces that it represents the final content for this game, looking back on it ahead of the next chapter.
