The Timeless Child - Prologue launched as a free-to-play game on December 10, 2021. It is explicitly a prologue — a standalone sampler of the full game concept featuring 5 puzzles set in Wells Manor. The only DLC, a Digital Supporter Pack, released on January 18, 2022, and no further DLC has been listed.
On October 7, 2024, the developer posted an announcement confirming that development of the full The Timeless Child game has now begun. Crucially, this announcement is about a separate, upcoming full game — not additional content for the Prologue itself. The developer thanked players for their support of the Prologue and positioned it as the foundation that led to the full game being greenlit. This confirms the Prologue's own content cycle is complete; it served its purpose as a proof-of-concept demo.
The Prologue shipped as a self-contained free experience with a defined scope (5 puzzles, one location), received one supporter DLC, and has received no content updates beyond maintenance patches since early 2022. The developer's October 2024 post effectively closes the loop on the Prologue as a finished product.
