The Undying Plague

The Undying Plague launched on April 10, 2015. In the weeks following launch, the developer posted a couple of bug fix patches and announced plans for a major engine migration that would bring new zombies, weapons, game mechanics, and maps. On August 18, 2015, they shared a sneak peek video of this upcoming update. However, that August 2015 post is the last known communication from the developer — there have been no further news posts, patch notes, or announcements since then. The promised major update never appears to have shipped, and the developer has been completely silent for over a decade (since August 18, 2015). The store description still references the original feature set with no indication of additional content having been added. With no further communication, no unreleased DLC listed, and a decade of silence following the last post, the game is best understood as having shipped as its original release build with no meaningful post-launch content delivered.
