The Upturned

The Upturned launched on March 23, 2022 as a complete game. On launch day, the developer stated that "the story of The Upturned Inn is now complete," with bonus levels being the only remaining planned content. The first post-launch content cycle consisted of several patches polishing the base game, followed by a small first bonus floor on April 6, 2022. On March 2, 2023, the developer shipped the full set of bonus levels — 6 new stages bringing the total to 8 — and noted that while a couple of ideas remained, "this is enough for now." The developer also acknowledged in that post that their focus had shifted entirely to a separate online multiplayer project. There have been no further posts, patches, or content announcements for The Upturned since March 2, 2023. The only DLC listed is the soundtrack, which released on launch day. With the bonus levels now delivered, all planned content the developer communicated has shipped, and the developer's attention has clearly moved on to their next project.
