The Whispered World Special Edition

The Whispered World Special Edition launched on May 6, 2014 as a re-release of a classic adventure game, bundling the original content with bonus material such as developer audio commentary, an orchestral soundtrack, and achievements. There is no indication of any additional story content or DLC planned for this title — it launched as a self-contained, complete package. After launch, Daedalic released a series of technical patches: a substantial engine and compatibility update on March 21, 2017 (adding a native Linux version, fixing audio issues, and upgrading the underlying Visionaire engine), followed by a minor bug fix patch on April 6, 2017. These updates were purely maintenance in nature — improving the existing product rather than adding new content. The sole news post about a sequel (a June 2015 trailer for Silence: The Whispered World 2) refers to an entirely separate game, not additional content for this Special Edition.
