The World of Kungfu: Dragon and Eagle

The World of Kungfu: Dragon and Eagle spent an extended period in Early Access building toward its full 1.0 release. The game launched into Early Access in August 2022, and over the following two years the developer (initially a two-person studio, later absorbed by ChillyRoom in December 2022) worked on the Central Plains storyline — the final major chapter of the game's narrative. On October 24, 2024, the game officially launched version 1.0, completing the full storyline with approximately 650,000 characters of narrative content across all routes and 40+ hours of single-playthrough content. Following the 1.0 launch, the developer shipped several post-launch patches: v1.0.11.0 on November 8, 2024, which added 10-star self-created martial arts for each sect, and v1.1.0.1 on November 14, 2024, which introduced Story Mode and Challenge Mode difficulty options. A further patch (v1.1.4.1) on December 5, 2024 improved the main storyline guide for the Central Plains chapter. These patches represent quality-of-life improvements and balance adjustments to the shipped game rather than new content commitments. The only DLC listed is the game's soundtrack, which has already been released. No future content, expansions, or additional story chapters have been announced by the developer. The developer's communications since the 1.0 launch have focused entirely on polishing and bug-fixing the existing content. The game was designed as a complete, self-contained Wuxia RPG story, and with the Central Plains chapter now fully delivered, the narrative arc the developer promised throughout Early Access has concluded.
