Their Land

Their Land is a solo-developed first-person action-adventure that launched on June 6, 2023. The game has received a steady stream of bug fix and performance patches since launch, culminating in a major V2.0 engine and gameplay overhaul on November 19, 2024, followed by further polish updates through October 30, 2025. Crucially, the developer has communicated on multiple occasions that Their Land is now a completed project and their focus has shifted to new games. As early as December 19, 2023, the developer wrote that after gaining experience with Their Land, they were moving on to a new co-op survival game. A May 30, 2024 announcement confirmed "Wilds of Iron" was in development. By October 30, 2025, the developer was publicly promoting yet another new game, "IT REACHES," on which they serve as Technical Director. A July 5, 2025 patch note also explicitly states "We are currently working on an awesome new survival game" — referring to a different project entirely. The two DLC items in the store are purely cosmetic rifle skins, both released, with no unreleased items. The store description presents the game as a self-contained ~3-hour story experience with no mention of planned expansions or ongoing content. There is no sustained cadence of major content updates beyond maintenance patches. All of this paints a clear picture: Their Land launched as a compact, finished game, has been polished over time, and the developer has moved on to new projects. The last meaningful patch was on October 30, 2025, which was a localization fix — routine maintenance. The game is complete.
