Third Front: WWII was released on May 11, 2018. In the weeks before and immediately after launch, Hamsters Gaming was quite active — shipping multiple feature updates including an AI overhaul, an Events system, and a full Campaign mode. The last developer communication directly related to this game was a patch note on May 14, 2018. After that point, all news posts from the developer shifted focus entirely to their other titles: Generals & Rulers (launched June 1, 2019), Last Day of Rome (entered Early Access July 2019, fully released September 2019), and Shelter Manager (announced September 2021). None of these posts reference any further development plans for Third Front: WWII. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap, and no developer statement promising future content. The game received its core content updates around launch and has had no developer communications since May 14, 2018. It launched as a complete product and has remained in that state.

Create your own army yourself! Discover new and new opportunities, manage not only infantry and tanks, but also the construction of a fleet of warships, lead the creation of fighters and much more! Do not forget about the defense of your cities - decide for yourself where to dig a trench and install Czech hedgehogs. Choose yourself which city will be an impregnable fortress for your enemies and where exactly you will entice the enemy. You completely control the battle, and it's up to you to decide how to dispose of your troops.
In addition to protecting your territory, you will often face enemy saboteurs and think carefully about how to get rid of spies.
