This Is the Police

The most notable post-launch content addition came on November 8, 2023, when Weappy Studio added two new investigations to both This Is the Police 1 and 2 as a gift to fans, coinciding with the announcement of their new game, Hollywood Animal. Since then, Weappy's communications have been entirely focused on Hollywood Animal, which launched into Early Access on April 10, 2025. The studio ran a sale in April 2025 that included This Is the Police at up to 80% off, treating it as a legacy title alongside their new release. There are no unreleased DLC items listed, no roadmap or announced future content for this game, and no indication from the developer that any further updates are planned. The game was a self-contained narrative experience by design — the player's goal is fixed (make $500,000 in 180 in-game days), and the store description describes a complete story. Weappy has moved on to a new project. This Is the Police is a complete, finished product.
