Through Abandoned: The Forest

Through Abandoned: The Forest is a point-and-click puzzle adventure game that launched on August 9, 2016. The developer released a bug fix update on August 14, 2016, and then gave the game a significant technical overhaul in February 2019 — rebuilding it on a newer Unity engine, adding Full HD support, 24 language options, keyboard controls, and animation improvements. The sequel, Through Abandoned: The Refuge, launched on March 25, 2019, marking the continuation of the series in a new entry rather than further updates to this game. Since that sequel launch, there have been no further communications or updates directed at The Forest. The only DLC — the game's soundtrack — was released on August 19, 2016. The developer's more recent news posts (November 2025) are announcements for entirely separate games published under the Conglomerate 5 umbrella, with no mention of this title. This game appears to have shipped as a complete, self-contained experience, with its content cycle concluded by early 2019 when the series moved on to its next installment.
