Ticket to Earth launched on Steam on June 28, 2017 as Episode 1, with the developer promising four total episodes as free updates. Episodes 2, 3, and 4 all shipped as planned free updates — Episode 2 on August 31, 2017, Episode 3 on December 18, 2018, and Episode 4 ("Revolution") on October 22, 2019. Alongside Episode 4's release, Robot Circus explicitly announced: "the Ticket to Earth saga is now complete." The store description echoes this, stating "With the Ticket To Earth saga now complete, there are over 100 unique battle locations and hours of narrative driven gameplay." The only post-completion update was a minor bug fix patch on July 22, 2021 adding wider screen resolution support — routine maintenance, not new content. The game delivered everything that was promised and the developer has clearly communicated that the story is finished.
