Evaluation
Time Clickers launched on July 23, 2015 as a free-to-play incremental/clicker game. In its first few months after launch, Proton Studio shipped a series of feature updates — Idle Mode (August 17, 2015), the Click Launcher (September 7, 2015), the Click Cannon (October 13, 2015), a Respec system (October 23, 2015), and a Timeline Summary screen (November 13, 2015). After that November 2015 update, no further content updates to Time Clickers have been recorded.
The developer's attention shifted to a sequel. In May 2017, they announced Time Warpers as a direct successor to Time Clickers, and that game launched into Early Access in November 2018. In early 2023, the developer announced and launched yet another title, Time Wasters. Neither of these announcements referenced any new content coming to Time Clickers itself.
The last developer communication specific to Time Clickers was in November 2015. With over a decade of silence on this title, no unreleased DLC on the store, no roadmap or future content announcements, and the developer having moved on to two subsequent games, Time Clickers is clearly a complete, finished product. The store description confirms it has no microtransactions and describes all of its core mechanics without referencing any upcoming features. The game launched as a complete idle game and received its final content additions by November 2015.
Evidence
Developer announced Time Warpers as the sequel to Time Clickers, signaling focus had shifted away from the original game.
Timeline Summary screen update (v1.4.2) released — the last recorded content update for Time Clickers.
