Timemelters launched into Early Access on October 13, 2022 and graduated to version 1.0 on February 28, 2024. Following the 1.0 launch, the developer shipped a notable post-launch update on July 9, 2024, which brought PS5 support, cross-platform co-op, bug fixes, and optimizations — the last major content release on record. The most recent developer communication is a community update posted on February 27, 2026. In it, the team thanks players for their participation in a Steam sale and the Quebec Games Celebration, shares engagement stats, and then pivots to say they are "currently hard at work on something new" that they "can't wait to share more about soon." This language strongly indicates the team has shifted focus to a new, unannounced project — not additional content for Timemelters itself.
