Evaluation

Tiny Tactics launched on August 5, 2022 as a self-described "polished and complete experience." The developer shipped one major content update — the Depths Rising update on November 22, 2022 — which added a new Beach Biome, new enemies, a new class, and numerous balance and system overhauls. Following that update, the developer released several smaller feature patches and bug fixes through January 27, 2023, with the last recorded communication being a bug fix on that date. Across 30 news posts scanned, only two qualify as major content releases: the launch itself and the Depths Rising update. There are no unreleased DLC listings on the store, no announced roadmap, no season pass, and no developer statements about future updates or expansions. The Depths Rising update post mentioned preparing "the way for the next update," but no such update was ever announced or delivered, and over three years have passed since the last developer communication on January 27, 2023. With a single post-launch major content drop, no sustained ongoing update pattern, no outstanding developer commitments, and more than three years of silence, the game appears to have reached its final content state. The most defensible completion date is January 27, 2023, the date of the last developer communication.
