Toaster Jam

Toaster Jam launched on November 14, 2018 as a small arcade game, with the developer openly acknowledging it was light on content at launch and promising more to come. The developer followed through with two content updates in the first week — adding new levels on November 16, 2018 and Steam Workshop support on November 21, 2018 — and a quality-of-life patch on January 9, 2019. The last official update was on May 16, 2020, which added the ability for players to upload custom toaster skins to the Steam Workshop. That post also notably mentioned the developer's attention shifting to a new game (Card Hog), suggesting Toaster Jam had reached a natural stopping point. There have been no developer communications of any kind since May 16, 2020 — over six years ago. The store description still contains a "Coming Soon" section listing more levels, Workshop integration, and additional game modes, but Workshop integration was delivered in November 2018 and no further movement on the other items has occurred in over six years. Given the developer's silence since May 2020 and the absence of any roadmap, unreleased DLC, or new announcements, the game appears to have been completed and quietly wrapped up with its final update on May 16, 2020.
