TOMOMI launched on Steam on March 25, 2022 as a complete Metroidvania action game. Post-launch, the developer ported it to Nintendo Switch (released December 2, 2022) and released a minimap improvement patch shortly after the original launch. A soundtrack DLC was released on May 11, 2025.
The most significant post-launch development was a story DLC titled "TOMOMI, Another Story" — released as part of a package called "ROLLING STAR DLC" on January 29, 2026. This DLC retells events from the perspective of Tomomi herself and appears to be the culmination of the base game's narrative threads. It was released as a companion piece to Rolling Star, the developer's second game in the same series, which launched on April 1, 2025.
All listed DLC for TOMOMI are now released. The developer has not announced any additional content for TOMOMI beyond what has already shipped. The January 29, 2026 story DLC represents the most recent content release, and no further updates or announcements have followed. The developer's attention appears to have shifted to Rolling Star, the series sequel, which was announced and released in 2025. TOMOMI appears to be a complete package as of January 29, 2026.

About this game
A new superweapon has been developed by the evil organization Animalia.
Enter Tomomi, a hero for hire. Joining her is Riko, the supporter.
Their mission...infiltrate the Animalia complex and stop their evil plans!
Tomomi is combat savvy, but she's a bit of an airhead and a pervert.
She's also a lesbian.
Will Tomomi and Riko be able to find and destroy the new weapon!?
There are research facilities, an observatory, an industrial mill, and even a shop just to name a few.
Naturally, there are hidden areas as well.
Explore them all with Tomomi's abilities. From simple jumps to transforming into an animal,
to swinging from the ceiling like Tarzan, there's no secret you can't find!
But do not despair, Tomomi's body may be small (although some parts are quite large), but it is powered by love and justice to overcome any enemy!
Some can be bought at a shop, others are obtained by defeating bosses, and a few are in hidden areas.
Once you find them all, Tomomi's movement will transcend the limits of gravity and physics.
They range from taunting the bosses, to Tomomi and Riko's small talk, their history, and much more.
In one of them, Tomomi reveals she is in love with Riko.

The Animalia complex is vast, containing many unique areas.There are research facilities, an observatory, an industrial mill, and even a shop just to name a few.
Naturally, there are hidden areas as well.
