Tormentor❌Punisher launched on June 2, 2017 and received two post-launch patches in its first month: a balance and options patch on June 9, 2017, and a leaderboard/gameplay update on July 8, 2017. After that July 8, 2017 update, all developer communication ceased. The only DLC ever released was the official soundtrack, which shipped on launch day. There are no unreleased DLC items, no announced future content, and no developer roadmap. Of the 30 news posts on record, 25 are non-development signals (sales, discounts, awards, etc.), and there have been no major content drops, announcements, or development status posts beyond the initial launch window. The game launched as a complete, self-contained arcade experience with no post-launch content cycle — the patches in the weeks following launch addressed polish and balance rather than introducing new content. The last meaningful developer activity was on July 8, 2017, nearly nine years ago. This game shipped as a finished product.

Demons adjust to your play style and punish you accordingly. Explore and discover new ways of killing enemies to gain cool upgrades. Reload your machine gun by firing your shotgun. Yeah, you read that right.
Kill, destroy, fuck up demons, rack up combos, get upgrades by performing unique kills, and try to survive the constant onslaught. Oh, and look good to your friends by smashing their scores on the leaderboards.
