Touhou: Dreamland of Infinity launched into Early Access on November 15, 2022. In its first few months, the developer was active: a series of bug fixes followed the launch in November 2022, the soundtrack DLC shipped on December 1, 2022, and a new playable character (Fujiwara no Mokou) was added across a beta branch in mid-February 2023 before being pushed to the default branch on February 24, 2023. A small achievement update and a hotfix followed shortly after, with the last recorded developer communication dated March 3, 2023.
Since March 3, 2023, there have been no further posts, patches, announcements, or developer communications of any kind — a silence lasting over three years as of June 22, 2026. The game remains in Early Access, meaning the developer has not yet formally declared it complete or shipped a 1.0 release. The soundtrack listing notes it "will be added as the game is updated," implying ongoing development was expected at the time, but no further updates have materialized. There is no developer statement explaining the halt in activity, no announcement of a studio closure, and no roadmap indicating what content was planned next. This extended silence, with the game still formally unfinished, raises serious concerns about whether development is continuing.

Touhou Dreamland of Infinity is a semi-realtime tactical strategy game combining rogue-lite and sandbox building elements.
As you go deeper into the dream, enemies become more and more powerful. Collect and match various types of buildings, equipment and talent skills to better face the endless challenges.
Real-time Shooting Combat: Use talent skills and equipment words to customize the style, number, and effect of the projectile.
Dreamland Constructions: Use building cards condensed from scenes all over Gensokyo and freely place them in the dream's grid to provide attributes or enemies for the main character. Related buildings will also link together, creating rich scenery and providing hidden effects.
Rich and Varied Talents: Pick skills to meet the challenges of various enemies.
Dream Spirit Props: The dreamland is full of possibilities, in addition to a large number of random worlds and various kinds of equipment, as long as you keep exploring, your chances of gaining legendary equipment will increase. These items provide additional skills, and greatly enhance the battle experience.
Dreamland Encounters: A variety of random events will be encountered whilst exploring the dreamland. It is up to you to decide whether to be with or against the dreamland's inhabitants.
Dream Hues: Each level of the dreamland has its own hue. Different hues greatly alter the state of battle, which makes avoiding or using these hues wisely are an important part of the game.
