Tribe XR | DJ Academy

Tribe XR | DJ Academy remains in Early Access and is actively being developed. The game operates as a subscription-based live service platform, offering more than 30 live DJ workshops per week alongside ongoing integrations with streaming services including TIDAL, SoundCloud Go+, Beatport, and Monstercat. Development has been frequent and consistent since the March 2019 Early Access launch, with a steady stream of feature updates across the years. The most recent update — version 0.12.5, released August 31, 2026 — adds a new track pack, multiplayer stability improvements, improved video calls, and various bug fixes. Prior to that, version 0.12.3 (September 17, 2025) introduced the CDJ-3000X and DJM-A9 mixer with new beat effects, and version 0.12.1 (July 23, 2025) migrated the app to Unreal Engine 5 and OpenXR, with the developer explicitly noting "more to come soon." The game is still versioned in the 0.x range, indicating the developer has not signaled an approach to a 1.0 release. The subscription model, continuous live workshop schedule, regular hardware and feature additions, and the developer's own language all point to this being an ongoing platform with no announced conclusion in sight.
