Trimmer Tycoon launched on November 4, 2016 and received a handful of bug fix and balance patches in its early weeks, with the last meaningful update — the "Rebirth" gameplay overhaul — shipping on January 28, 2017. All four DLC packs (cosmetic skin bundles) have been released, the last of which arrived on January 30, 2017.
The most telling communication came on May 3, 2020, when Improx Games posted an announcement on the Trimmer Tycoon Steam page to introduce their next game, The Last Cube. In that post, the developer explicitly thanked players for supporting them "during the Trimmer Tycoon phase," framing it as a completed chapter in their studio's history. There have been no further updates, patches, or announcements for Trimmer Tycoon since January 2017 — nearly a decade of silence. No future content has been announced or hinted at, and the developer has clearly moved on to other projects.

Trimmer Tycoon is a shop management game with simulator elements. You start off with an empty shop which you can later expand to a bigger and better one. Customers find you quickly and your job is to satisfy their beardy dreams to the best of your abilities. Attract more customers by decorating your shop and handle rush hours with skilled employees. The customers expect accurate shaves and colors, but you can’t take too long; the clock is ticking — you need to make enough money to pay rent!
