Evaluation
Trine Enchanted Edition is the enhanced remake of the original Trine, released in 2009. It is a self-contained, complete game. Its only DLC — the original soundtrack — was released on February 10, 2020, completing the store's content offerings for this title.
The developer news on this page is largely cross-promotional activity from Frozenbyte for other entries in the Trine series. Posts announce and celebrate Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy (released August 31, 2023) and Trine 6: Together in Time (announced June 6, 2026, with a Steam Next Fest demo on June 15, 2026, and a full release date of September 17, 2026). A minor maintenance patch on December 30, 2025 added cross-platform account linking support — a technical improvement, not new content for Trine Enchanted Edition itself.
None of these communications announce new content for Trine Enchanted Edition specifically. The store description contains no mention of planned DLC, seasonal content, or ongoing development. No unreleased DLC is listed. Frozenbyte's continued activity on the broader Trine franchise confirms the studio is healthy and active, but Trine Enchanted Edition itself has been a finished, complete product since the soundtrack DLC shipped in February 2020.
Evidence
The only DLC for Trine Enchanted Edition — the Original Soundtrack — was released on February 10, 2020. No unreleased DLC exists.
A demo for Trine 6: Together in Time launched during Steam Next Fest. Cross-promotional post on the Trine Enchanted Edition page; no new content announced for Trine Enchanted Edition.
