Until the Last Plane

Until the Last Plane launched on March 4, 2021 and received a series of post-launch updates throughout 2021 and into early 2022. These included the "Friendship" update (April 26, 2021), the "Rearmed" update (June 24, 2021), and the "Auto Pilot" update (October 18, 2021), followed by a final feature update on February 7, 2022 adding gamepad support and a revised mini-game. In both the October 2021 and February 2022 posts, solo developer Carlo explicitly stated he was shifting his focus to his next game, Full Metal Sergeant, and that Until the Last Plane updates would be paused or winding down. Full Metal Sergeant launched in April 2023. After that, the developer announced a sequel — Until the Last Plane 1942 — in November 2023, and then announced a brand-new unrelated game, Last Card Dungeon, in September 2025. There have been no further updates, patches, or content announcements for Until the Last Plane since February 2022. The developer has moved on to new projects, and the last meaningful communication about this game's development was the February 7, 2022 post. The game appears to have concluded its post-launch update cycle at that point, launching as a complete, finished product from that date forward.
