Evaluation

U.V.S. Nirmana launched on May 4, 2026 as a self-contained engineering puzzle game with thirty puzzles, twelve tools, and a described 4–6 hour runtime — language that suggests a complete, finite experience rather than an ongoing content platform. The only DLC listed is the game's soundtrack, which has already been released. Since launch, the developer (Coincidence) has been very active: they shipped multiple patches in the first two weeks adding new languages, quality-of-life improvements, accessibility features, and platform support. On June 11, 2026 — just over five weeks after launch — they added a free "post-campaign bonus missions" pack containing 10 new community-contributed puzzles, alongside a matching achievement. No future content has been announced or teased beyond what has already shipped. The game's store description frames it as a complete pilgrimage with a defined scope ("Thirty Zach-like Puzzles"), and the developer has made no statements about ongoing or upcoming additional content. Because the game only launched in May 2026, there is not yet enough history to know whether this bonus pack represents a one-time addition or the start of a broader post-launch content pattern. The developer's post-launch communication has been frequent and healthy, but the game is simply too new to draw firm conclusions about its long-term content trajectory.

About this game

U.V.S. Nirmana is an engineering puzzle game from Coincidence, the creators of Kaizen: A Factory Story and the inventors of the Zach-like.

Set off on the Unreturning Void Ship Nirmana as it continues a journey of uncountable eons toward the edge of the universe. Stop by distant worlds and ancient civilizations, helping them as part of your pilgrimage with your companions, the Renunciants.

The U.V.S. Nirmana awaits.

Thirty Zach-like Puzzles to Master

Conduits, signals, and constraints must be brought into accordance with optimal patterns. Design pipe networks that route energy flows from the vega drive engine and other sources. Modify their behavior with the control matrix while minimizing flux.

A Medium-Difficulty Pilgrimage

Too easy is too easy. Too difficult is not rewarding. For those already experienced with previous “Zach-like” games, a complete journey will take roughly 4–6 hours.

Twelve Tools for Expedient Means

Tools include sensors, valves, multiplexers and more. Their skillful use will be necessary to assist the various life forms and civilizations that you will encounter along the way.

Custom Puzzles

Continue exploring state space beyond the missions of the U.V.S. Nirmana by designing your own puzzles and observing as others solve them.

Eternal Solitaire

A solitaire variant inspired by the traditional game Oware is included. Strategic play rewards insight into the future and an understanding of cause and effect.

Histograms and Leaderboards

Optimal solutions are their own reward, however, those interested in comparing their work to others can do so with these features.
