Vade Retro : Exorcist

Vade Retro: Exorcist launched on October 27, 2022. At launch, the developer (a two-person team of brothers) posted that the game would be improved over time with new maps, demons, and sound effects, and that a single-player AI mode was under development. Over the following weeks, they shipped a steady stream of patches through November 2022 — improving the lobby system, unlocking global matchmaking, adding Steam Cloud saves, and making various balance and bug fixes. The last developer communication of any kind was on November 21, 2022. Since then — a period stretching to June 2026 — there have been no further posts, updates, patch notes, or announcements from Forceight. The promised single-player AI mode, new maps, and new demons were never confirmed as shipped, and no further roadmap or communication was ever issued. Given that the developer has been completely silent since November 21, 2022, and no new content or updates have arrived in over three and a half years, the game appears to have settled into its final state. The early post-launch burst of activity produced no sustained long-term update cadence, and the studio has not communicated any ongoing plans. The game shipped as a relatively compact multiplayer experience, and its update activity ended shortly after launch.
