Victory Road

Victory Road entered Steam Early Access on March 10, 2020. The developer, a solo developer going by "General Krukov," released a series of updates throughout 2020 and into 2021, building out the combat system, adding new modes like the Underworld Survival mode, and introducing quality-of-life improvements. In September 2020, the developer published a roadmap outlining planned features including a rival system, improved random events, additional AI behaviors, and a second phase of the Dojo — none of which have shipped. The last update was on July 21, 2021, which added the Dojo feature and a new exploration menu. In that post, the developer acknowledged nearly a year of silence due to personal hardship, said they were back on track, and expressed intent to continue developing the game toward completion. No communications of any kind have been posted since that date — no patch notes, no developer updates, and no announcements. The promised roadmap content remains outstanding, and the game remains in Early Access with no 1.0 release. The absence of any developer communication since July 21, 2021 raises serious questions about whether development is still ongoing.
