Vivid Knight

Vivid Knight launched on May 26, 2021 as a party-building roguelike. In the weeks following launch, the developer shipped a rapid series of feature patches adding dungeon levels, balance changes, and bug fixes — most of this activity concluded by late July 2021. After that initial post-launch burst, substantial new content updates stopped entirely. The only DLC ever listed — an original soundtrack — was released on launch day and is fully available. No additional DLC has been announced or listed since. In September 2023, the developer announced a new game in the same series, Vivid World, which launched on November 5, 2025. The Vivid Knight store page was used to celebrate and promote that launch with a 50% discount sale, and in July 2025 the developer added new language support and controller compatibility to Vivid Knight — maintenance-style quality-of-life improvements rather than new content. There is no indication from the developer of any planned new content, expansions, or updates for Vivid Knight itself. The studio's focus has clearly shifted to Vivid World. Vivid Knight appears to have shipped as a complete product, with its content cycle wrapping up in mid-2021 shortly after launch.
