Evaluation
Volley Court released on November 25, 2022 and has received a consistent stream of updates ever since. These updates span feature patches (rotation mechanics, room passwords, win-set configuration, key rebinding, tactical options), career mode overhauls, and numerous bug fixes — demonstrating sustained development activity well past launch.
The most recent developer communication, dated April 5, 2026, added a new online mode host-pause feature and mentioned that a new game is in production. This is the kind of pattern typical of indie developers who continue maintaining a released title while beginning work on something new. It does not signal that Volley Court has been abandoned or declared complete.
An earlier February 2025 post also laid out future plans including cloud saves, more career mode gameplay, and cooperative dungeon content for online mode — none of which have been confirmed as fully shipped. Posts through June 2025 continued to deliver on some of those directions (online room settings, rotation systems).
The last developer post was on April 5, 2026 — roughly six months before today's date of October 8, 2026. The update cadence across 2024–2026 has been roughly every 1–3 months between posts. Six months of silence is at the outer edge of this developer's normal pattern. However, the April 2026 post explicitly describes ongoing work on both this game and a new project, with no statement that Volley Court development has concluded. Given the explicit April 2026 signal of active work and the absence of any completion statement, the game is best characterized as still receiving updates — though the recent silence is worth noting.

About this game
I released a 2D volleyball game a year ago, and I'm back to bring you a more realistic and detailed volleyball game.
Experience volleyball from different perspectives
In addition to having a third-person and wide-angle view, the volleyball game uses an innovative first-person perspective to make the player feel more involved in the volleyball experience.Play volleyball as different characters
There are a number of unique levels designed to allow you to control different positions of players in the game. So you can experience the powerful smash as the outside hitter, the precise passing as the setter, the monster block as the middle blocker, and the fantastic save of the libero.Support for 12-player online battles
As long as you and your friends own the game on Steam, it's easy to invite your friends to join the games you create through Steam. If you have enough friends, you can even get two teams to play.A variety of interesting skills
In order to make the game more realistic and interesting, a variety of skills are designed in both standalone and online modes. Wish you can get satisfactory skills!Last evaluated Oct 8, 2026
