Waifu Closet launched on November 14, 2024 as a free-to-play clicker game. The developer shipped a few quick patches in the days following launch to fix inventory issues and tune drop rates. A more substantial feature update arrived on April 4, 2025, adjusting item drop intervals and rarity rates further. However, beginning in January 2025 — just two months after launch — the developer began actively promoting a new game called Everlusting Life on the Waifu Closet news page. On March 27, 2025, a post titled "No more clicker games, meet Everlusting Life!" explicitly signals the studio is pivoting away from Waifu Closet entirely. That same April 4, 2025 feature patch also used its closing lines to promote Everlusting Life rather than tease future Waifu Closet content. The last developer communication of any kind was on April 4, 2025 — over 14 months before today (June 19, 2026). No future content for Waifu Closet has been announced, no roadmap exists, and the studio's own messaging makes clear their focus has moved to their next project. There is no sustained pattern of major content updates to suggest more is coming. The game appears to have launched as a lightweight clicker with a small number of post-launch tuning patches and has since been quietly set aside by the developer.
