Walkabout Mini Golf VR launched on July 15, 2021 and has maintained one of the most consistent DLC release cadences in VR gaming. Mighty Coconut has shipped 29 paid course DLCs, each adding a full 36-hole course (18 easy + 18 hard), at a pace of roughly one new course every 6–8 weeks. The previously flagged unreleased DLC — the Homestar Runner Activity Pack — has since shipped on June 25, 2026. All 29 DLCs currently listed are released, so there is no longer a concrete store-listed commitment to undelivered content. However, the game's development status is unambiguous. The most recent major release, Gloop Lair, launched on August 13, 2026 — five days ago. The preceding releases show an unbroken pattern: Blokhaven (May 7, 2026), Hollywood (March 12, 2026), Tiki à Coco (January 15, 2026), Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (December 4, 2025), Forgotten Fairyland (October 9, 2025), Tokyo (August 14, 2025), Crystal Lair (June 26, 2025), and so on back through 2021. On November 24, 2025, Mighty Coconut explicitly stated: "We're just getting started." This is a direct developer statement of ongoing commitment to the game. On August 10, 2026, the studio held a dedicated "Mighty Coconut Presents" showcase to announce new content, and on August 17, 2026, they announced they are publishing a new game (GRASS), confirming the studio is healthy and active. The combination of an active multi-year release cadence (well within the established 6–8 week window as of today), an explicit developer statement of ongoing development, and the studio's continued activity leaves no doubt that more content is coming — even without a specific next course announced on the store.

GAMEPLAY

Walkabout Mini Golf takes everything you love about the real-life game and makes it better. Putting is easy and natural, the physics are completely realistic, and a wide variety of courses provide the perfect challenge for hardcore golfers and casual players alike.

COURSES

Each 18-hole course is carefully crafted to replicate the feeling of classic mini golf in a larger-than-life location. Interconnected holes encourage you to explore the entire course, search for lost balls and try out your own trick shots using anything and everything in the environment.

HARD MODE

Once you master a course, you're only halfway there! Hard Mode isn't just cosmetic, every hole has been modified, and sometimes completely redesigned to provide an entirely new course. In the redesigned courses, there will be difficult challenges, a Foxhunt leading you to a specialized putter, and a completely different aesthetic than the standard version of the courses.

MULTIPLAYER

Walkabout Mini Golf is better with friends! Full crossplay lets up to 8 players join a private room with voice chat no matter what platform they're playing on (some limits to Pocket Edition do apply). Join our Discord for regular tournaments, or host your own by simply entering the same room name as anyone you want to play with!
